Win books for the school!

To sign up, go to http://www.wegivebooks.org/ and register. 

Then spread the word and have people read children’s books online (it’s free, as far as I can tell).  Starting next Tuesday, February 14^th (also known as levy election day and, oh yes, Valentine’s Day) any PTA that has read at least 50 books associated with its registration can win up to 500 books for its school.  At the same time there’s an opportunity to help the Foundation provide books to children in India and Africa.  All of the details are available on the website mentioned above.

If you have permission from your family to do so, you could sign up at school and read the book online at school during reading time. Write a note saying that you have permission to use your email address (write that down too) and have parents sign it. FUN!

What a Great day!!!

Hi Friends,
I hope that all you formers had a fantastic day today-we did in Room 306! We had to do a bunch of that "Procedural stuff" today and will also do that tomorrow but we also got to know each other a bit and I am very excited for the year and getting to teach such a fine group of students! Here you are (newest "Buchwalds")... thank you for humoring me and walking around the courtyard just so I could get a good shot of our long line! Get some sleep (after you read of course!) and I will see you tomorrow.. Ms. B
