Hard workers!

These kids were completely focused and into doing their best work on a 3 paragraph analytical essay on a book we read in class (Esperanza Rising). I told them, that since they were so on task the entire time and most were still not finished so I would give another 45 min on Monday-many wanted to work on it at home this weekend!

Harvest Party -Celebrating our Diversity!

It has become a tradition to have students bring food to share from whatever country they are from for our class Harvest Party. I do not eat breakfast or lunch on these days! There was an amazing array of deliciousness again this year. Wow....thanks so much to the parents for contributing....I know there were hours of cooking invested in sending your child with your food to share with our class and we loved it.
